Beer Can Chicken

  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 440ML Can Of Beer
  • 1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Large Whole Chicken
  • 2 Tbsp Mustard Powder
  • 1 Bottle Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp Salt



1. Preheat the oven to 200degree

2. Mix all the rub ingredients together

3. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil

4. Sprinkle the rub over the chicken and massage it in

4. Open the beer can and pour out half (you can drink it!)

5. Position so the chicken cavity sits over the beer can and the chicken stands up]

6. Place in the oven and cook for 1hour 10minutes or until cooked through

7. Carve and serve with roasted veggies
