Loaded Chicken Sausage Hotdog


  • 6 Richmond chicken sausages
  • 6 brioche hot dog rolls
  • 1 sweet onion diced
  • Chopped bacon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Relish
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp Honey


Step 1.  Cook the sausages on the BBQ or in a pan with 1 tbsp of olive oil.

Step 2.  Heat a pan or skillet over a low heat and then add a tablespoon of olive oil. 

Step 3.  Add the diced onions with a pinch of salt and stir. Cover and cook for about   15 minutes stirring occasionally to avoid burning the onions.

Step 4.   Remove the cover and the honey, tossing to cover the ingredients and cook   for a further 15 minutes. 

Step 5.  Next up, in a separate pan add the chopped mushrooms and bacon. Again   cover and cook for a further 15-20 minutes stirring once or twice. Add the   garlic and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Step 6.  Serve the hotdogs in the buns and top with the onions, bacon and    mushrooms. Serve with ketchup, mustard or relish
