Rocky Road


  • 200g of digestive biscuits
  • 135g of butter
  • 200 of dark chocolate
  • 2-3 tbsp of golden syrup
  • 100g of mini marshmallows
  • Optional extras (100g): buts, popcorn, raisins, malteasers


Step 1. Grease a square baking tin

Step 2. Add your biscuits to a sandwich bag and hit with a rolling pin to break up (make sure you hold the bag together whilst you do this!) they should be a mixture of dust and larger chunks of biscuit

Step 3. In a large bowl add your chocolate, golden syrup and butter. Keep adding to the microwave for short 20-30 second bursts, stirring in-between, until fully melted. Then let cool

Step 4. Now time to add your crushed biscuits, marshmallows and any optional extras to your cooled chocolate! Stir around until everything is coated

Step 5. Add your mixture to the tin and evenly spread out and flatten slightly

Step 6. Chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours then it’s time to dig in!
