Banana Bread


  • 140g of butter
  • 140g of icing sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 140g self-raising flour
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1tsp of cinnamon


Step 1. Grease and line a loaf tin with grease proof paper

Step 2. Cream together your butter and sugar and then mix in your eggs one by one until fully combined.

Step 3. Sift in the flour and fold together until incorporated

Step 4. Then gently fold in your mashed bananas and 1tsp of cinnamon

Step 5. Add your mixture to your loaf tin and pop into the oven for 30 mins, until golden brown

Step 7. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes and then remove and place on a cooling wrack

Step 8. Enjoy while still warm or keep stored for a delightful afternoon snack!
