C-PoS News is a ‘New’ affordable piece of ‘Windows’ software available in three modules - ‘Title maintenance’, ‘Newspaper Supplies’ and ‘News rounds’.

Due to the complexity of newspaper barcodes, often newspapers and magazines are not scanned at the till but simply sold by entering the price which means stock records are not maintained. Having the C-PoS News software allows title barcodes to be added to the system giving full stock control and a reduced risk of incorrect pricing. Keeping on top of sale or return systems operated by news wholesalers is very important, with the supplies module you can control every newspaper and magazine that passes through the store. This should also allow you to know the stock levels of every title on your shelves at any moment in time. Reports will show how many of each title you are selling and returning and strive to maximise your sales with sensible stock levels.
